Member since 2024, Mr. Gusarov has earned distinction as a Master of Sports of Russia in both Judo and Sambo. He is a multiple-time Champion and medalist of the Russian National Championships, the winner of the 2025 USA Open SAMBO Championship, and the Champion of the 2025 Arnold Sports Festival, Battle of Columbus. He also served as Referee at the 2025 David Rudman Memorial SAMBO Championship.
AASF grants Mr. Gusarov’s the status of the Ambassador of the Federation, tasked with supporting the establishment and development of new Sambo clubs and athlete programs across the United States. This special status reflects not only his competitive successes but also his ongoing commitment to promoting Sambo, mentoring athletes, and elevating the reputation of our Federation.
